Finally we're under way!
I'm going to be adding photos to Fundy Fondo 2015 as we go, so I probably won't worry about embedding photos in blog posts (it's a pain to do from a phone.)
Here's our route from Strava:
Steve F's van (which Mike would refer to repeatedly as the Sacrificial Van) returned from Kingston early in the morning, so several of us met at 8:00 to help load before the official 9:00am start at Beyond The Pale. We rode along the river path as far as Trim Road, then worked our way north up to the Prescott-Russell rail trail. First crash of the trip: Derek rode into my back wheel when I had to slow for a pokey rider swerving in front of me.
We stopped for a picnic lunch along the trail near Hammond, where Steve F. joined us with the van, and Lindsay, Sean and Rachel ended their ride for the day.
After lunch, most of us continued riding along the path to Vankleek Hill and Beau's All Natural Brewing for some...grocery shopping and a brewery tour.

After Beau's we rode on to Voyageur Provincial Park on the Ottawa River to our great camp sites along the water. We feasted on Mennonite sausages and the homemade salads that Laura had slaved over.
